About me

Coffee, all the way down.

I’ve always had a soft spot for coffee—it’s been a quiet presence in my life for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is sneaking a sip from my dad’s cup. I thought it was awful at the time, but something about that moment stuck with me. Over the years, coffee slowly became part of my routine—a small comfort that helped ground me each morning. No matter what the day held, I could always count on that first cup to bring a bit of calm.

Eventually, my curiosity led me to explore more than just drinking coffee. I started moving away from chain coffee shops and began brewing at home. That opened up a whole new world—different methods like French press, pour over, espresso—each one offering its own experience and flavor. Naturally, that led me to wonder about the beans themselves. I spent a lot of time learning about what affects flavor: freshness, grind size, roast profiles. I started to see that there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to coffee, and honestly, that’s part of the fun.

“Roasting felt like both a challenge and an art.”

Driven by that curiosity, I decided to try roasting my own beans. I began small, using a simple air roaster, mostly for my own enjoyment and to share with friends. It became something I truly loved. Roasting felt like both a challenge and an art—a mix of trial and error, learning from mistakes, and slowly getting better with each batch. There’s something really satisfying about working toward that sweet spot where everything comes together in the cup. It’s not perfect, and that’s okay. What matters most is the joy it brings, both in the making and the sharing.
